MTV/ Adidas/ Foot Locker Virtual House Party Sweepstakes

Campaign Description:

The Challenge
A partnership between MTV, Addidas, Foot Locker & Digital Instincts to leverage the power and creative use of social media. The sweepstakes premise was to get registered players to select and send invites out via a widget that would be posted on users various social media sites. Once posted within Facebook etc., friends and colleagues could accept their friends house party invite, opt to create their own party and begin inviting. The widget would then tally entrants and party attendees back to the main sweeps site leader board. The user with the most party attendees at the end of the promotion wins the contest and prize. Users are directed to the site via, on air spots on MTV, Retail in-store POP and online banner ads.
